Being at your favorite band’s concert with over 16,000 other fans can be an amazing experience.

Check out the snippet of the concert I put together.

It was a one big concert/karaoke/dance/party in one big arena.

Highlight of the concert was when Coldplay jumped out of the stage and sang in the crowd.

Who knew Will (drummer) can sing too?! (You can see that in the snippet above)

Got to swing by the Championship Gaming Series and hang out for a bit - damn gaming has changed!
I used to play a lot when I was a kid, but back then it was Mario Bros. and Zelda. Remember when Street Fighter 2 came out? I was like, “How the hell am I gonna get used to using SIX buttons???” Now gaming can literally bring you into a simulated world. People from around the world can compete against each other, and professional gamers (thats right, “Professional Gamers”) make a damn good living.

1. Inside the series 2. Who is Nemesis Jaxson?

While at the event I got to meet Fatal1ty. Probably America’s most famous gamer, if not the world. Fatal1ty’s stats are impressive to say the least. I remember I first heard about him on a Kevin and Bean interview (KROQ) a couple of years ago. One of the things that stuck out to me was how the fact that gamers were starting to pick up a lot of fame and money, especially overseas. I’m talking about a guys like Fatal1ty who get mobbed by fans, date super models, and have TV shows. Gone are the days of people like me playing Super Mario Bros. in my pajamas Saturday morning.

Also at the event was K.O. You may have seem him on our feature. K.O. is an up and coming artist - which is ironic since he’s been in the game since his wee teens.
Check out his blog here.

I entered a Rockband Tournament the other weekend (cough cough)…
We didn’t win, but I had tons of fun. See below and you’ll get a glimpse.

At times it felt like a big sing-a-long, but the more the merrier.
I’m gonna have to polish my skills before the next one!

I hit mix tape gold. This is the CD I’ll be playing before I hit the club, while I work on professional projects, and it’s shaping up to be the soundtrack of summer. The lyrics in this podcast are covering all the romance and drama in my life so perfectly, so of course I got to share ;)

This mix is brought to you by DJ Edgartronic

I’ll introduce his style by a quote off his Myspace is ” Please, no wedding DJ inquiries (unless you want your wedding music to consist of electro, indie & rock remixes and some 80s).”

It was done for Faction 6, hosted by DJ Narcolept, who describe themselves as:

“We are independently owned and operated. We are not guided by persuasive music labels and all shows are commercial free. Every show is 100% free for download on iTunes. Faction-6 invites you to turn off your radio and turn yourself onto our shows.”

Here’s the track listing if you want to peep it before downloading and my ever famous youtube emeds:

One of the songs in the mix (wrong version though) but I gotta add it because the lyrics are exactly what I’m doing in the club (minus the drug references lol)

“I’m getting tired and i’m sweaty,
but i still want to touch you if you let me.
Because we hugged a few times
it was special
and we’ll be working all night cause its pumping.
And you were special

My hand slipped into your hand,
and it was awesome
and you were special.”

BONUS:

I wanted to give a shout out to this FR*A fan spotted at a curry and adobo bday party.

Traci Kanamori is a SDAFF Street Team Leader and loves the FR*A line of shirts.
