DJ Hapa spins at all the clubs you can’t get into, he is the first DJ ever to be a morning broadcast personality, he run’s his own DJ academy - yet he finds himself today signing an autograph for a 40 something mother of an epileptic child. On to his list of many achievements shines “Inspirational Speaker”. DJ Hapa is Epileptic. I had the opportunity to follow DJ Hapa around on what he would describe as a typical week, from Sept. 13th - 15th. Least to say, it was a jammed pack weekend.
Day 1 - The Hustle
Day 2 - The Rockstar
Day 3 - The Teacher
At the end of the third day I’m exhausted. Hapa must be tired as well, but I leave him as he prepares for his final class of the day. From DJ’ing at KTLA, to running Rehab, to speaking at epilepsy camp, it’s fair to say that not only is his schedule diverse, but DJ Hapa truly is a man of action. You don’t just get the title, “World’s hardest working DJ” for nothing.
